How to Convert Multiple ARW Images to PPM?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting ARW files in under two minutes. Need edits? Resize, rotate, or add watermarks during conversion.
2. Load your ARW files
Add your ARW files to reaConverter. Whether it's a handful or an entire archive, the batch engine processes them efficiently.
You can drag-and-drop files, browse to a folder, or add entire directory trees including subfolders.

3. Select PPM as output format
Set PPM as output format and select where to save your converted files. Customize quality settings if needed.

4. Start ARW to PPM conversion
Click the Convert button to start. reaConverter will process all your files with the settings you selected.

When finished, your new .ppm files will be waiting in the destination folder.
How ARW and PPM differ in practice
ARW files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to PPM bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after.
