Convert PDF to PLT

2. Load your PDF files

Load your PDF files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.

Select PDFs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select PLT as output format

Pick PLT as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .plt files.

4. Start PDF to PLT conversion

Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .plt files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.

What changes when you convert PDF to PLT

PDF is a design format with no notion of real-world units, while PLT is a drawing format where one unit means one millimetre or one inch. Scale is the thing to watch: the geometry transfers, but the drawing arrives at whatever size the conversion assigns, so check dimensions against a known measurement before machining or plotting from it. One PDF file can hold several pages or frames, while PLT holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
