GLB to GLTF: what carries over and what does not

GLB and glTF are the same format in two packagings. A .gltf file is a text description that points at separate files: a .bin holding the geometry, and images for the textures. A .glb packs all of that into one binary file. Converting between them changes the packaging, not the model. The thing to watch is a .gltf whose .bin or texture files were left behind when it was copied.
