How to Convert Multiple NEF Images to PDF?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting NEF files in under two minutes. Need edits? Resize, rotate, or add watermarks during conversion.
2. Load your NEF files
Add your NEF files to reaConverter. Whether it's a handful or an entire archive, the batch engine processes them efficiently.
Drag files into the window, use the Add Files button, or select entire folders.

3. Select PDF as output format
Choose PDF as output format. Adjust color profile, quality, and resolution settings to match your photography workflow.

4. Start NEF to PDF conversion
Hit Convert to process your files. The log window shows progress, timing, and status for every file.

Conversion complete? Your PDF files are saved to the destination folder, ready to use.
How NEF and PDF differ in practice
NEF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to PDF bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. PDF is a page format, so each NEF image is placed on a page rather than converted into something else. Two settings decide how the result looks: the DPI, which fixes how large the image sits on the page, and whether a batch becomes one file per image or a single merged document. reaConverter can do either.
