How to Convert Multiple CDR Files to DDS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter

2. Load your CDR files
Load your CDR files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select CDRs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.
3. Select DDS as output format
Pick DDS as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .dds files.
4. Start CDR to DDS conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.
After processing, find all your new .dds files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
How CDR and DDS differ in practice
CDR describes geometry rather than pixels, so it has no inherent resolution. The conversion renders it at whatever size you choose, and that choice is final: enlarging the DDS afterwards will not recover the sharpness. Set the output dimensions or DPI before converting, not after. CDR files are often prepared in CMYK for print, and DDS is an RGB format. Colours are converted between the two spaces during the run, and saturated print colours can shift visibly. If the output is heading back to print, keep an untouched copy of the original.
