How to Convert Multiple CR2 Images to PCX?
1. Download and Install reaConverter

2. Load your CR2 files
Launch reaConverter and load the CR2 files you want to convert. Add a few files or thousands, batch processing handles them all.
Drag files into the window, use the Add Files button, or select entire folders.
3. Select PCX as output format
Select PCX from the output format list and set your destination folder. You can also adjust quality and compression settings.
4. Start CR2 to PCX conversion

How CR2 and PCX differ in practice
CR2 files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to PCX bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. CR2 carries 14 bits per channel and PCX carries 8, so tonal steps get coarser during conversion. It shows up first in smooth gradients such as skies. If the result will be edited further, move to an 8-bit format only at the very end.
