How to Convert Multiple DNG Images to HPG?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Install reaConverter for fast DNG conversion. Quick setup, then you're ready to process entire photo shoots. Built-in editing tools let you resize, crop, or watermark as you convert.
2. Load your DNG files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your DNG files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Drop your DNG files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.
3. Select HPG as output format
Choose HPG for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.
4. Start DNG to HPG conversion

After conversion, find your HPG files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
What changes when you convert DNG to HPG
DNG files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to HPG bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. DNG is made of pixels and HPG is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a HPG container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
