DXF to WMF: what to expect from the conversion
DXF stores a technical drawing with layers and line weights, and WMF stores artwork meant for display. Geometry comes across, but drawing conventions such as dimension styles and hatching are flattened into ordinary strokes and fills, which is fine for publishing and awkward if the file needs to go back into CAD. One DXF file can hold several pages or frames, while WMF holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
