How to Convert Multiple EXR Images to PCX?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting EXR files in under two minutes. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your EXR files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your EXR files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select PCX as output format
Pick PCX as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .pcx files.

4. Start EXR to PCX conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your PCX files in the destination folder you selected.
EXR to PCX: what carries over and what does not
EXR can carry an alpha channel and PCX cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. EXR carries 32 bits per channel and PCX carries 8, so tonal steps get coarser during conversion. It shows up first in smooth gradients such as skies. If the result will be edited further, move to an 8-bit format only at the very end.
