How to Convert Multiple GEOTIFF Files to BMP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting GEOTIFF files in under two minutes.
2. Load your GEOTIFF files
Launch reaConverter and load the GEOTIFF files you want to convert. Add a few files or thousands, batch processing handles them all.
Drag-and-drop GEOTIFFs directly into reaConverter or use the folder browser to load entire directories.

3. Select BMP as output format
Set BMP as output format and select where to save your converted files. Customize quality settings if needed.

4. Start GEOTIFF to BMP conversion
Press Convert to begin processing. You can watch the progress or minimize and let it run in the background.

Your converted BMP files will appear in the destination folder as soon as processing completes.
GEOTIFF to BMP: what carries over and what does not
GEOTIFF describes geometry rather than pixels, so it has no inherent resolution. The conversion renders it at whatever size you choose, and that choice is final: enlarging the BMP afterwards will not recover the sharpness. Set the output dimensions or DPI before converting, not after. One GEOTIFF file can hold several pages or frames, while BMP holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
