How to Convert Multiple JIF Files to JXL?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting JIF files in under two minutes.
2. Load your JIF files
Add your JIF files to reaConverter. Whether it's a handful or an entire archive, the batch engine processes them efficiently.
Browse for files, drag them in, or add entire folders at once. reaConverter queues everything automatically.

3. Select JXL as output format
Pick JXL as the output format. Set the destination folder and optionally configure resolution, quality, or file naming.

4. Start JIF to JXL conversion
Start the conversion with one click. reaConverter handles everything and notifies you when it's done.

When the batch finishes, your JXL files are ready in the destination folder you chose earlier.
Before you convert JIF to JXL
JIF and JXL both compress by discarding data, so this is a re-encode rather than a copy. The output is built from already-compressed pixels, and the artefacts of the first encode are carried into the second. Use a high quality setting, and convert from the original whenever you still have it.
