How to Convert Multiple JXR Images to FITS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your JXR files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your JXR files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select FITS as output format
Pick FITS as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .fits files.

4. Start JXR to FITS conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your FITS files in the destination folder you selected.
What changes when you convert JXR to FITS
JXR can carry an alpha channel and FITS cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. FITS is lossless, so nothing further is discarded during conversion. What it cannot do is restore detail that JXR compression already removed, and the output file will usually be considerably larger.
