How to Convert Multiple ORF Images to STEP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting ORF files in under two minutes. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your ORF files
Start reaConverter and add your .orf files. The software processes everything locally, so your files never leave your computer.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select STEP as output format
Choose STEP as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.

4. Start ORF to STEP conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your STEP files in the destination folder you selected.
How ORF and STEP differ in practice
ORF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to STEP bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. ORF is made of pixels and STEP is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a STEP container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
