How to Convert Multiple PEF Images to PLT?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Download reaConverter and install it in seconds. The setup is straightforward — no complex configuration, no extra software required. reaConverter also includes editing tools: resize, crop, rotate, and more.
2. Load your PEF files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your PEF files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Drop your PEF files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select PLT as output format
Choose PLT for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start PEF to PLT conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your PLT files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
Before you convert PEF to PLT
PEF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to PLT bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. PEF is made of pixels and PLT is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a PLT container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
