How to Convert Multiple RAW Images to BMP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your RAW files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your RAW files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Drop your RAW files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select BMP as output format
Choose BMP for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start RAW to BMP conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your BMP files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
RAW to BMP: what to expect from the conversion
RAW files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to BMP bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. RAW carries 14 bits per channel and BMP carries 8, so tonal steps get coarser during conversion. It shows up first in smooth gradients such as skies. If the result will be edited further, move to an 8-bit format only at the very end.
