How to Convert Multiple RW2 Images to GIF?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting RW2 files in under two minutes. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your RW2 files
Launch reaConverter and load the RW2 files you want to convert. Add a few files or thousands, batch processing handles them all.
Drag files into the window, use the Add Files button, or select entire folders.

3. Select GIF as output format
Select GIF from the output format list and set your destination folder. You can also adjust quality and compression settings.

4. Start RW2 to GIF conversion
Hit Convert to process your files. The log window shows progress, timing, and status for every file.

Conversion complete? Your GIF files are saved to the destination folder, ready to use.
How RW2 and GIF differ in practice
RW2 files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to GIF bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. GIF stores a limited palette rather than full colour, so the conversion has to reduce the number of distinct colours. Photographic content shows this as banding, while flat graphics and icons usually survive it untouched.
