How to Convert Multiple SCN Images to STP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. Built-in editing tools let you resize, crop, or watermark as you convert.
2. Load your SCN files
Load your SCN files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select SCNs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select STP as output format
Choose STP for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start SCN to STP conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .stp files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
How SCN and STP differ in practice
SCN is made of pixels and STP is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a STP container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it. One SCN file can hold several pages or frames, while STP holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
