How to Convert Multiple TGA Images to JPEG?
1. Download and Install reaConverter Lite
reaConverter Lite is quick to download, easy to install, and ready to launch in seconds. This lightweight, standalone software is highly efficient at handling a wide range of batch image conversions. Plus, it lets you apply essential image editing options — such as resizing, rotating, or adjusting quality — during the conversion process.
2. Load your TGA files
Add TGA files to reaConverter. One file or a thousand, the process is the same. Everything runs locally on your machine.
You can drag-and-drop files, browse to a folder, or add entire directory trees including subfolders.

3. Select JPEG as output format
Select JPEG from the output format list and set your destination folder. You can also adjust quality and compression settings.

4. Start TGA to JPEG conversion
Click the Convert button to start. reaConverter will process all your files with the settings you selected.

When finished, your new .jpeg files will be waiting in the destination folder.
Before you convert TGA to JPEG
TGA can carry an alpha channel and JPEG cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. TGA stores pixels without compression loss and JPEG does not, so this is a one-way step. Choose a high quality setting, and avoid converting the same file back and forth, because each pass compounds the artefacts.
