How to Convert Multiple DDS Images to GLB?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. reaConverter also includes editing tools: resize, crop, rotate, and more.
2. Load your DDS files
Open reaConverter and add your DDS files. You can load individual files, entire folders, or even nested subfolders.
Drop your DDS files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select GLB as output format
Choose GLB as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.

4. Start DDS to GLB conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your GLB files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
How DDS and GLB differ in practice
DDS is made of pixels and GLB is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a GLB container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it. One DDS file can hold several pages or frames, while GLB holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
