How to Convert Multiple DNG Images to FITS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Download reaConverter and install it in seconds. The setup is straightforward — no complex configuration, no extra software required. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your DNG files
Load your DNG RAW photos into reaConverter. Add entire shoots at once and process them in minutes.
Drag-and-drop DNGs directly into reaConverter or use the folder browser to load entire directories.

3. Select FITS as output format
Choose FITS as output format. Adjust color profile, quality, and resolution settings to match your photography workflow.

4. Start DNG to FITS conversion
Press Convert to begin processing. You can watch the progress or minimize and let it run in the background.

Your converted FITS files will appear in the destination folder as soon as processing completes.
Before you convert DNG to FITS
DNG files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to FITS bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after.
