How to Convert Multiple DWFX Files to EMF?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately.
2. Load your DWFX files
Add DWFX files to reaConverter without opening CAD software. The batch engine handles technical drawings natively.
Use drag-and-drop, folder browser, or right-click conversion from Explorer.

3. Select EMF as output format
Choose EMF from the format list. Set destination folder and configure output quality for your technical drawings.

4. Start DWFX to EMF conversion
Click Convert to start the batch. reaConverter processes files quickly and shows you the status of each one.

Once done, reaConverter shows a summary. Click 'Show converted files' to jump straight to your EMF output.
DWFX to EMF: what carries over and what does not
DWFX stores a technical drawing with layers and line weights, and EMF stores artwork meant for display. Geometry comes across, but drawing conventions such as dimension styles and hatching are flattened into ordinary strokes and fills, which is fine for publishing and awkward if the file needs to go back into CAD. One DWFX file can hold several pages or frames, while EMF holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
