How to Convert Multiple EXR Images to WEBP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting EXR files in under two minutes. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your EXR files
Add EXR files to reaConverter. One file or a thousand, the process is the same. Everything runs locally on your machine.
You can drag-and-drop files, browse to a folder, or add entire directory trees including subfolders.

3. Select WEBP as output format
Select WEBP from the output format list and set your destination folder. You can also adjust quality and compression settings.

4. Start EXR to WEBP conversion
Click the Convert button to start. reaConverter will process all your files with the settings you selected.

When finished, your new .webp files will be waiting in the destination folder.
Before you convert EXR to WEBP
EXR carries 32 bits per channel and WEBP carries 8, so tonal steps get coarser during conversion. It shows up first in smooth gradients such as skies. If the result will be edited further, move to an 8-bit format only at the very end. EXR stores pixels without compression loss and WEBP does not, so this is a one-way step. Choose a high quality setting, and avoid converting the same file back and forth, because each pass compounds the artefacts.
