How to Convert Multiple GBR Files to FITS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately.
2. Load your GBR files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your GBR files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select FITS as output format
Pick FITS as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .fits files.

4. Start GBR to FITS conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your FITS files in the destination folder you selected.
What changes when you convert GBR to FITS
GBR describes geometry rather than pixels, so it has no inherent resolution. The conversion renders it at whatever size you choose, and that choice is final: enlarging the FITS afterwards will not recover the sharpness. Set the output dimensions or DPI before converting, not after.
