How to Convert Multiple GIF Images to PPM?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your GIF files
Open reaConverter and add your GIF files. You can load individual files, entire folders, or even nested subfolders.
Drop your GIF files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select PPM as output format
Choose PPM as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.

4. Start GIF to PPM conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your PPM files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
GIF to PPM: what to expect from the conversion
GIF can carry an alpha channel and PPM cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. One GIF file can hold several pages or frames, while PPM holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
