How to Convert Multiple JFIF Images to ICO?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your JFIF files
Launch reaConverter and load the JFIF files you want to convert. Add a few files or thousands, batch processing handles them all.
Drag-and-drop JFIFs directly into reaConverter or use the folder browser to load entire directories.

3. Select ICO as output format
Set ICO as output format and select where to save your converted files. Customize quality settings if needed.

4. Start JFIF to ICO conversion
Press Convert to begin processing. You can watch the progress or minimize and let it run in the background.

Your converted ICO files will appear in the destination folder as soon as processing completes.
Before you convert JFIF to ICO
ICO stores a limited palette rather than full colour, so the conversion has to reduce the number of distinct colours. Photographic content shows this as banding, while flat graphics and icons usually survive it untouched. ICO is lossless, so nothing further is discarded during conversion. What it cannot do is restore detail that JFIF compression already removed, and the output file will usually be considerably larger.
