How to Convert Multiple ORF Images to AI?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting ORF files in under two minutes. Need edits? Resize, rotate, or add watermarks during conversion.
2. Load your ORF files
Add ORF camera files to reaConverter. Import folders of RAW photos and process them all with consistent settings.
Use drag-and-drop, folder browser, or right-click conversion from Explorer.

3. Select AI as output format
Select AI from the format list. Fine-tune color space, compression, and quality before converting your RAW photos.

4. Start ORF to AI conversion
Click Convert to start the batch. reaConverter processes files quickly and shows you the status of each one.

Once done, reaConverter shows a summary. Click 'Show converted files' to jump straight to your AI output.
How ORF and AI differ in practice
ORF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to AI bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. ORF is made of pixels and AI is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a AI container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
