How to Convert Multiple ORF Images to SHP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Install reaConverter for fast ORF conversion. Quick setup, then you're ready to process entire photo shoots. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your ORF files
Start reaConverter and add your .orf files. The software processes everything locally, so your files never leave your computer.
Select ORFs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.
3. Select SHP as output format
Choose SHP as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.
4. Start ORF to SHP conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.
After processing, find all your new .shp files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
What changes when you convert ORF to SHP
ORF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to SHP bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. ORF is made of pixels and SHP is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a SHP container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
