How to Convert Multiple PSD Images to TGA?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. Built-in editing tools let you resize, crop, or watermark as you convert.
2. Load your PSD files
Add your PSD files to reaConverter. Whether it's a handful or an entire archive, the batch engine processes them efficiently.
Browse for files, drag them in, or add entire folders at once. reaConverter queues everything automatically.

3. Select TGA as output format
Pick TGA as the output format. Set the destination folder and optionally configure resolution, quality, or file naming.

4. Start PSD to TGA conversion
Start the conversion with one click. reaConverter handles everything and notifies you when it's done.

When the batch finishes, your TGA files are ready in the destination folder you chose earlier.
What changes when you convert PSD to TGA
PSD carries 16 bits per channel and TGA carries 8, so tonal steps get coarser during conversion. It shows up first in smooth gradients such as skies. If the result will be edited further, move to an 8-bit format only at the very end. PSD files are often prepared in CMYK for print, and TGA is an RGB format. Colours are converted between the two spaces during the run, and saturated print colours can shift visibly. If the output is heading back to print, keep an untouched copy of the original.
