How to Convert Multiple SR2 Images to IGS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Install reaConverter for fast SR2 conversion. Quick setup, then you're ready to process entire photo shoots. reaConverter also includes editing tools: resize, crop, rotate, and more.
2. Load your SR2 files
Open reaConverter and add your SR2 files. You can load individual files, entire folders, or even nested subfolders.
Use drag-and-drop, folder browser, or right-click conversion from Explorer.
3. Select IGS as output format
Pick IGS as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .igs files.
4. Start SR2 to IGS conversion
Click Convert to start the batch. reaConverter processes files quickly and shows you the status of each one.
Once done, reaConverter shows a summary. Click 'Show converted files' to jump straight to your IGS output.
What changes when you convert SR2 to IGS
SR2 files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to IGS bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. SR2 is made of pixels and IGS is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a IGS container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
