How to Convert Multiple TIF Images to FITS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your TIF files
Load your TIF files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select TIFs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select FITS as output format
Choose FITS for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start TIF to FITS conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .fits files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
What changes when you convert TIF to FITS
TIF can carry an alpha channel and FITS cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page.
