How to Convert Multiple VTF Files to PCX?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed.
2. Load your VTF files
Open reaConverter and add your VTF files. You can load individual files, entire folders, or even nested subfolders.
Drop your VTF files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select PCX as output format
Choose PCX as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.

4. Start VTF to PCX conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your PCX files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
How VTF and PCX differ in practice
VTF can carry an alpha channel and PCX cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. One VTF file can hold several pages or frames, while PCX holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
