How to Convert Multiple DDS Images to STP?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Download reaConverter and install it in seconds. The setup is straightforward — no complex configuration, no extra software required. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your DDS files
Load your DDS files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select DDSs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select STP as output format
Choose STP for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start DDS to STP conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .stp files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
DDS to STP: what to expect from the conversion
DDS is made of pixels and STP is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a STP container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it. One DDS file can hold several pages or frames, while STP holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
