How to Convert Multiple FITS Images to PLT?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your FITS files
Launch reaConverter and load the FITS files you want to convert. Add a few files or thousands, batch processing handles them all.
Drag-and-drop FITSs directly into reaConverter or use the folder browser to load entire directories.
3. Select PLT as output format
Set PLT as output format and select where to save your converted files. Customize quality settings if needed.
4. Start FITS to PLT conversion

Before you convert FITS to PLT
FITS is made of pixels and PLT is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a PLT container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it. One FITS file can hold several pages or frames, while PLT holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
